Palestinian Authority minister calls on Palestinians to carry out Ribat at the Cave of the Patriarchs to “prevent the occupation and its settlers from taking control of it”

“[PA] Minister of Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Ida’is yesterday [Feb. 7, 2019] announced the employment of 17 additional guards at the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs)… Ida’is also urged the citizens to come and carry out continuous Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) at the holy Ibrahimi Mosque and to increase their presence there in order to prevent the occupation and its settlers from taking control of it.”
