“[PA] Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories and preacher at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Muhammad Hussein condemned former US Vice President Mike Pence’s invasion of the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) in Hebron.
In a press release yesterday, Thursday [March 10, 2022], the mufti said that the Ibrahimi Mosque is an Islamic mosque and site of prayer and worship for the Muslims only, and that what the [former] US vice president did is a dangerous act of provocation for whose consequences the occupation authorities bear the responsibility.”
